Brando sings! Brando dances! And Mandroid, being a fan of musical theatre, finds it all reasonably entertaining.

Finger_Of_DOOM reviews Gaspar Noé's controversial revenge film, which caused 200 walkouts at Cannes.

Garland, Alex - The Coma
Other Entertainment - Book Reviews
Written by Root
Root reviews The Coma, the latest from the author of The Beach (if you don't count the script to Halo). While impressed, he finds the volume a little on the skimpy side.

3. Being an Unwilling Dating Agent

Written by Mandroid3000
Mandroid's etiquette guide returns! This time he tells you how to ask a lady out on a friend's behalf. Or how to score her yourself, if you're so inclined.

Written by Mandroid3000
Vincent Price, Elisha Cook Jr, William Castle and a haunted house! It may not be scary anymore, but Mandroid3000 says it's still a lot of fun.

Trial of Joan of Arc (1962) - *****
Movie Reviews - Movie Reviews
Written by Shahir Daud
A stirring vehicle for French nationalism, feminism and religious virtue also happens to be highly watchable. Let no one say the 1960s were not a good decade for film-making.

Dark Water (2005) - **1/2
Movie Reviews - Movie Reviews
Written by Finger_Of_DOOM
Karate Party's resident Hollywood Affairs reporter, Finger_Of_DOOM, holds issue with Maxim's "even Hitchcock could not have done it better" comment. Che must be turning over in his grave... after a forgettable horror film from Motorcycle Diaries director Walter Salles.

Seaquest DSV: Series One (1993) - **1/2
Other Entertainment - TV Reviews
Written by Root
J.C. Root reviews the incomparable SeaQuest DSV, quite possibly the most educational prime time tv show made in the 1990s. Having watched several episodes recently I can only say that Root is a more generous man that I.

Great Raid, The (2005) - ***1/2
Movie Reviews - Movie Reviews
Written by Juan Incognito
Juan Incognito reviews The Great Raid, a recently released story of heroism against overwhelming odds. If you like extras, then you will love this film.
But remember: war = bad

Kingdom of Heaven (2005) - **1/2
Movie Reviews - Movie Reviews
Written by Finger_Of_DOOM
Orlando Bloom maybe widely acclaimed as a dreamboat, but he fails to charm Finger_Of_DOOM in his epic review of Kingdom of Heaven. This otherwise delightful romp throughout the era of the Crusader Kingdom suffers greatly from this poor casting decision. Less biased than usual against Saladin's guys though, which is nice.

Hughes, Thomas -Tom Brown's School Days
Other Entertainment - Book Reviews
Written by Juan Incognito
Juan Incognito gets schooled by 19th century tales of virtue clothed in public school hi-jinks. Will he be a better man for this? Or is this too little, too late?

Bronx Warriors (1982) - *
Movie Reviews - Movie Reviews
Written by Minister_X
Minister_X reviews Bronx Warriors, possibly one of the most average of the post apocalyptic urban nightmare movies of the last twenty years. Cheesy dialogue tries to make up for this but sadly fails. What type of world do we live in?
