"Packaging: An explosion of orange. Foil makes it fresh. Extremely unhelpful name – what does ‘original’ mean?" Whatever it means, it tastes kind of salty and bland."
"Dipability: You really need to. Pretty thin chip, so don’t expect them to make a great meat spoon. If you try, use a bent chip."
Mandroid3000
Score: 310 out of 1000

"Wow! The Original. I hate remakes, so these should be just super. This pack makes me feel warm and fuzzy. I now feel like a twat for writing that. For some reason I think it looks expensive. My head hurts, I think I’ve eaten too many chips."
"The flavour is non-existent. You’d save money by replicating the experience with a teaspoon of salt."
"Strong enough to dip, but since it has no flavour you could just eat the dip with a teaspoon as well."
"The package says that all you need to enjoy these chips is your favourite dip, which is honest. They don’t mention that once you have the dip you can throw the chips away."
"A money saving tip: Mix some salt into your favourite dip and eat it with a spoon." (We get the idea already – ed.)
Juan Incognito
Score: Low 6
Rank: 7= of 27
"The bag is a mixture of orange and red, which in my opinion clash, indicating that the ideal market is that of a child with no taste. The chip is triangle shaped, pale in colour."
"The chip was fresh and crunchy, however the flavour was weak, salt with a hint of pepper."
"Guacamole dip tasted insipid but smooth. Salsa dip offered no real improvement Mince and bean dip worked well, the chip held the load and flavour well."
"Bland nature of chip works well with flavoursome dip."

"Appearance and Packaging: Shiny and tacky."
"Really unpleasant, like they’re dipped in tomato stock."
"The taste is overpowering, and they’re not going to mix well with whatever you put them in. Having said that, I sure as hell wouldn’t eat them without dip."
"Gross."

Score: 150 out of 1000

"The pack was, I believe, designed by a 2-year old with a packet of crayons and ADD. I do appreciate Sancho’s brilliantly innovative idea of making salsa with tomatoes."
"It tasted like a chip coated with Maggi tomato soup powder. I do like the texture though, the break up nicely without turning to paste."
"Would you mix tomato soup powder into guacamole?"
"After an evening of eating tasteless chips, this was like being assaulted."
Juan Incognito
Score: Innocent 5

"The colours are krazy."
"Curved medium triangle. Smells great. Strong taste, biting. Horrible aftertaste."
"Dipability: Average, lemon juice makes it ok." (We had lemon juice? – ed.)
"Finger_Of_DOOM and Root = big Babies. Claude almost took Finger’s hand off trying to get a chip."

"Guide to real salsa on the back suggests that even the guys that made the chips were hesitant to call the flavour these posses salsa- also, normally the tomato part would be implied- are they trying to say that we wont be able to tell the salsa is tomato or something?"
"The flavour (if you can even call it that) of these chips were so bad, I actually had a physical reaction as my body tried to expel whatever was causing it’s taste buds to malfunction- yes, really this bad."
"The chips angle for their triangle shape was too narrow, this does not make dipping easy as if you use the pointy end, you don’t get enough dip but if you use the thick wedge, the chip breaks and you get no dip. Either way, the claim "big dipper" is bullshit!"
"DO NOT BUY THESE!!!- do not even eat them at parties if at all possible."

"Bah, just a hint of lime. Barely any spiciness either – I expect more from a chilli chip."
"Dipability: Pretty good. It’s a thick chip and the flavour isn’t overwhelming, so it complements your dip."
"Better in concept than in execution."
Mandroid3000
Score: 389 out of 1000
Rank: 18 of 37
"Appearance and Packaging: A snazzy lime green, I wonder if I can buy fabric that colour for a pair of shorts. The package says these are an "ideal snack" and can be used for "hearty nachos"."
"On checking the package again it does say chilli and lime on it, but I’ll have to take Signature Range’s word for that. As bland as can be."
"A disappointment considering the snazzy look and pretentious flavour."
Juan Incognito
Score: Medium 7
Rank: 1= of 37
"Chip is circle in shape, outside he square. Fresh, crunchy trip, dissolves nicely in mouth after the stronger-than-usual flavour."
"Dipability: Mince: Rugged, but Mince dominates the underlying flavour. Guacamole: Bland"
"Sealable bag seals in flavour for long term fun."
"Bland for lime and chilli flavour."

"Like the other Signature Range packets, it’s releasable with nice thick plastic."
"This is double cheese? There is less cheese flavour in these chips than there is in most plain cheese-flavoured chips. THIS IS A DISGRACE."
Mandroid3000

"Again they’re resealable, which I give a hearty thumbs up."
"Double cheese. Fuck off. This tastes of nothing."
"The score wouldn’t be so low if they didn’t claim that the flavour was double cheese."

"Appearance and Packaging: Purple, which somehow goes well with the hideous bright green of the chips themselves. Plus infinity for having the cajones to make their chips bright green. The chips are round, which is blasphemy, but the packet is resealable, which is nice."
"They taste like dip. I dread the dip stage of the test."
"Dipability: Not good, but these are already dip-infused. Dipping is overkill."
"I like these chips. The novelty carries them."
Mandroid3000
Score: 692 out of 1000

"Tasteful packaging for a supermarket brand, you won’t look like a hobo buying them. The chips are a nice green colour."
"I can’t say it tastes of actual guacamole, but it tastes good."
"I couldn’t eat too many of these. So maybe if corn chips is part of some fad diet your following then these will keep you satisfied with minimal calories."
"They’re good, but wouldn’t become my regular corn chip."
Juan Incognito
Score: Strong 6
Rank: 7= of 27
"Chip has a disturbing green colour, again muted, but right, like the Sun. Chip pleasantly salty, but guacamole flavour is understated. I do like salt though, a lot. Fresh chip."
"Dipability: Salsa: Strong Salty flavour overpowers this poor excuse of a dip. Sour Cream: Salt rules my palate. Guacamole: Pleasantly sweet, and salty."
"Resealable bag and strong salty flavour make this a promising addition to Juan’s pantry, but uncertain if general public would appreciate its charms."
Root
Score: 6.25 out of 7

"The purple packaging was eye catching and cool, but the green colour of the chips was really cool."
"Excellent crunch, a sort of sweet and salty taste that was not altogether unpleasant"
"Nice and firm with a gentle curl- an excellent dipping chip."
"I really liked the novelty aspect of this chip. Not for every time you want corn chips, but good for when you are looking for something different."
