FANTASY
 Goblins, elves, trolls. Fantasy is usually a tiresome genre for dorks. Luckily for sword and sorcery dorks, Lord of the Rings seems to have temporarily blinded people to this genre's general crapness.
Yet, it doesn't have to be this way. silliness with forest elves aside, not everything in fantasy has to be a fruity Tolkien clone. Perhaps the new, darker fantasy appearing in print will make it onto our screens. It could happen, but we probably have to wait until the ultra-fruity C. S. Lewis adaptations are out of the way.
