Jesus Moss

Jesus has appeared in many places and guises; in Jerusalem, as a pretzel, even as a character in the bestselling book The Bible. But is that intrepid spiritual star now making an appearance as green moss in Wellington’s own Wilton’s Bush?

Opinions among Karate Party staff vary widely on the photos below. Some can see the image of Jesus as clear as day, others think it’s Santa while some, provocatively, have suggested Charles Darwin. The majority just see a shapeless lump of moss on the side of a tree.

Is this a miracle, or is it just another one of life's happy coincidences, designed to give the nature loving people of Wilton a cheap thrill?
