Karate Party has long prided itself on having a pragmatic readership; we often sit, smug in our contemplation of the various scholars that no doubt thrive on our brain sauce. Until today, when we discovered that 50% of these assumed geniuses sought to corrupt the nature of the dog, holding it forever as a puppy , a plaything of children and those who seek to baby things that should not be. It is possible these betrayers are eminent scientists, bestriding various laboratories like colossuses, driving humanity onto great things. But I doubt it, trapped, as they no doubt are in their happy puppy dreams. Or perhaps I am bitter that so few share my desire to bite the world in half. Who is the monster here?

Things are afoot in the content management system that is the KP Organisation. Your editor and chief executive have both departed Wellington for foreign climes, one going East to search for Mrs Fong, the other West to visit the beating heart of the Anglosphere.  We shall endevour to keep things ticking along nicely, but if things fall to pieces blame it on either foreign police or our remaining Wellington staff hanging out with foreign dignitaries. Either way, foreigners will be involved.
