The Karate Party team has rediscovered the joy of shitty little second hand shops, through the purchase of a double DVD set of the esteemed and seemingly forgotten films of Will Hay. Now before we get labelled as the worst kind of pre War groupies let me just say this: A comedian that has mastered the fine art of a bumbling yet not crude or obnoxious fool is a resource to be treasured. Until the modern cinema industry reintroduces four minute long sequences where three policemen stand around the bed of an aged relative reciting nursery rhymes about rum smugglers we shall not be back, dammit.
